I am so excited for the new year! The greatest task that I have learned is discovering self-love; it is breaking down the walls that I have built against it. When we have the courage to push through the walls; to know and embrace ourselves despite our humanness, our flaws, and our rejections, we open the door to connecting in more caring, empathic, and intimate ways with others who are truly worth loving. Even those who hurt or harass us!
In my own life, it is important to start telling myself what I love about me! I admit, I have post-it notes on our bathroom mirror and other places with wonderful reminders. If I am disappointed with myself, it is because of what I see as disappointment in someone else. The acceptance of others is the acceptance of myself! My potential to see potential in others often reflects my ability to see my own potential and lately it has been incredible. I have prioritized, planned, set goals, and the results have been amazing! Amazing husband and adventures, second edits, salary increases, new property, amazing mentors, and powerful results! When we start telling ourselves that we deserve the best, the best begins to happen! I am grateful for a loving God, a loving husband and family, and the determination to be the best version of me!
