Tenacious Tuesday

Updated: Jan 6, 2023

This past year has been HUGE for me. I have learned that happiness does not start with my relationships, vacations, monies, or employments. It starts with how I think and what I tell myself on a daily basis. I joined a community called "Fueled by Fire". It assists me in how to incorporate Christian values into my daily leadership life to build a successful business. The best lessons that we learn in life are the lessons that we practice over and over and over. The human mind needs a ton of reminders, lots of practice, and to operate effectively. I have noticed an enormous difference in the leader I was last year to the leader I am this year.

Christmas night I received a telephone call from someone that I never wanted to hear from again. He has lied, defamed, cheated, and I am sure he still does. Yet, he wanted to talk to me, said he missed me, he was wrong. Oh well, I got over it a long time ago. I said "no", I spoke up, I told him the truth about his actions, and I have learned from the mistakes that I made with him. I told him to never call me again unless he told the truth to those, he needed to tell the truth. I am sure that will never happen. Gratefully, I have learned there is no need to be perfect to inspire others; I am learning to get inspired by how I deal with my imperfections. Strength, courage, and wanting to be better today than yesterday.

The blessings of the last year are the result of hard work, tenacity, strength, courage, and forgiveness. The blessings of the last year are the result of college classes, money management, caretaking, and setting goals. Success grows in silence.
