For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
It is the first day of December and the last month of the year. When I look back at the past months, I am grateful. My husband, family, and I have had so many blessings while working through the losses.
My husband lost his son, Randy, to suicide. My stalker said he was a "child molester" and "drug addict". Not true. But her name calling only furthers her ignorance and cruelty. I love the painting that I have attached to this post. How wonderful it is that Christ does not call us cruel names as humans do. Each day is a journey to be better than the day before it. How grateful in the knowledge that we are not "our sins" but how we attempt to improve what we have made a mess of. I have learned to drown out the negative noise of the naysayers and succeed in silence. It is amazing what can be accomplished when we are not worried about what others think, feel, and say.
As this first new day of December begins, I am grateful for our snow day, for my wise husband, beautiful children and grandchildren, my incredible employment, and the academic blessings that have come my way! Hard work, positive attitude, kind words, and living a beautiful day is rewarding!
Have a wonderful day!
