I made mistakes yesterday. I was pushed to anger and I was angry. Sometimes having to deal with human resource issues can be daunting and one has to be careful in thought, word, and deed. I was able to step aside, say a small prayer, and come back to the task at hand with a steady hand, calm demeanor, and resolution.
Jesus Christ, through the atonement, His Grace and invitations to repent, specializes in clean slates and new beginnings. He can help me make the most of the opportunities before me. This morning is a new beginning, a new day, to do better than I did yesterday and in the light of love.
Today, I am grateful for the gift of employment, the gifts of husband and home, children and grandchildren, thunderstorms, and cold rain. It is refreshing to think of all the blessings that we have even amongst the challenges. I am grateful for the gift of prayer to lift up the family, friends, and enemies alike! All are precious in the sight of Christ!
