Today is a landmark day! I filmed my first music video and my good friend in Salt Lake City will be editing it. He has encouraged for many years and today it was done! We are visiting family and going to enjoy a beautiful Easter weekend with food, fun, laughter, and lots of love!
The past few weeks have felt like a struggle; lots of work at work, lots of preparation for a new semester of classes, lots of music practice, and restoring my property back to spring planting and new babies.
Just because we are struggling doesn't mean we are failing. Every success requires some sort of worthy struggle to get there. Although the journey may be tough at times, it always feels better to be exhausted from tiny bits of progress, then it does to be tired of doing nothing at all. Every step counts!
Gradually life's obstacles turn around; my husband's illness, our blessings of settlements, my employment, my schooling, and all of the things that others said that I could not do or accomplish. The results of success can be pretty noisy, talking, writing, and sharing stories about it. Publishing, negotiating, and filming. The important pieces are keeping successes discrete and mysterious. Silence has been my best friend.
I am mindfully keeping my focus on the positive. Whiskey is growing and in training. We are learning to rein together. Perhaps a champion in the making. This takes time and effort. My piano and cello are many hours of practice and patience. Our new home is taking form in drawings and dreams. Step by step, the positive is loud and yet silent. Haters beware; karma just around the bend, but I love each and every one of you and we pray for your success!
I am learning and practicing that I am mindfully able to accept and let go of the negative emotions rather than dwelling on them. I am enjoying my beautiful tribe and the wonderful adventures together. My husband and I are enjoying our life adventures! And who wouldn't with a man who loves me, adores me, stands by me, and appreciates all that I do for him.
We are focusing on our positive, sending out positive vibes into the universe, and embracing our journey. Start with the baby step! It works!
